The audience sees a black rabbit and a white rabbit, each covered with a box. After some magic words the rabbits apparently change places. This is repeated again and again but the audience believes the magician is simply turning the rabbits around, but they've been fooled, as the magician finally shows! For small stage presentation, especially suitable for an audience of children.
Requires practice but quite easy to work. This is the full size version (about 12 inches high) not the miniature version.
£60 including full original (part faded) instructions
Invented in the 1940s by Normal Hazeldene (1885-1975) who originally called the trick "The Elusive Rabbits". This version was probably made in the 1960's by Harry Stanley of Unique Magic Studios in London.
